About BLAAC - BIPOC Led Arts Advocacy Coalition

Our Commitment to Liberation

BLAAC - BIPOC Led Arts Advocacy Coalition is committed to reimagining creative sector advocacy and organizing practices in a cooperative liberatory network. Our mission is to center the voices, experiences, and leadership of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in the arts community. We strive to create a space where BIPOC artists and cultural workers can thrive, free from systemic barriers and inequities.

Our Vision for Change

Our vision is to build a more just and equitable arts ecosystem where BIPOC individuals are empowered to express their creativity and cultural heritage without fear of exploitation or erasure. We believe in dismantling oppressive structures and fostering a supportive environment that celebrates the richness of BIPOC artistic expressions.
